1. What AI Powers ResumeAI
ResumeAI uses large language models (LLMs) from providers including OpenAI and Google to produce ATS analyses, keyword extraction, recruiter simulations, and bullet rewrites. The models are general-purpose foundation models prompted with your resume content.
2. How AI Is Used in the Product
- ATS analysis: scoring, keyword matching, and improvement suggestions.
- Recruiter simulation: a simulated 6–10 second recruiter scan with credibility, seniority, and interview-probability estimates.
- Content rewrites: alternative phrasings for bullets and summaries.
3. Known Limitations
- AI may hallucinate facts that are not in your resume.
- Scores are approximations and may differ from real ATS or recruiter behavior.
- Outputs can reflect biases present in training data.
- Recommendations may be generic or industry-mismatched.
4. Human Review Required
You must review every AI suggestion before using it. ResumeAI is a drafting assistant, not a substitute for your own judgment or a professional career coach.
5. How Your Data Is Used by AI Providers
Your resume text is sent to our AI providers solely to generate your results. Under our agreements, providers do not use your content to train their public models. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
6. No Guarantee of Outcomes
AI-generated outputs do not guarantee interviews, offers, or employment of any kind. Use them as one input among many in your job search.
